How We Work 2018-11-09T07:21:48+00:00

Why Hightown Group?

It’s not just the experience that we have with managing new builds and refurbishments that sets us apart. We’re committed to being a transparent business that is fully customer focused and delivers on expectations. That’s one of the reasons why many of our clients come back to us again and again.

Not only do we believe in delivering the best, we’re a family owned business that cares passionately about the environment. All our practices and processes have sustainability running through them, whether that’s sourcing the right materials from local suppliers or ensuring that all our waste is recycled or repurposed rather than disposed of in landfill.

Health & Safety

As a member of CHAS, Constructionline and Safe contractor, we understand the importance of meeting all our legislative and statutory Health & Safety requirements, both for our business and for our clients. We believe a key aspect in achieving the highest level of site Health & Safety is the recognition of near misses, identifying lessons learned, communicating with staff members, our supply chain partners and incorporating those lessons into training and education and conducting audits to ensure those near misses are not repeated. We use this approach on all of our projects. This policy has led to us having an exemplary Health & Safety track record. Our Directors conduct regular unannounced inspections of our sites to ensure that the highest standards of Health & Safety and site cleanliness are being adopted. This is also an opportunity to check that lessons learned from historical near misses and instances have been incorporated and staff members are taking the necessary measures.

We have been undertaking complex and difficult construction projects within live establishments for many years, and one of the key issues always faced is to ensure that we collectively manage disruption, interfaces and communicate our intentions to our clients and stakeholders clearly and consistently at all times.

ISO

As a business, we have gained three extremely important ISO standards: ISO EN 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001. Our quality assurance and production processes are independently audited and verified every year.
