Health & Safety
As a member of CHAS, Constructionline and Safe contractor, we understand the importance of meeting all our legislative and statutory Health & Safety requirements, both for our business and for our clients. We believe a key aspect in achieving the highest level of site Health & Safety is the recognition of near misses, identifying lessons learned, communicating with staff members, our supply chain partners and incorporating those lessons into training and education and conducting audits to ensure those near misses are not repeated. We use this approach on all of our projects. This policy has led to us having an exemplary Health & Safety track record. Our Directors conduct regular unannounced inspections of our sites to ensure that the highest standards of Health & Safety and site cleanliness are being adopted. This is also an opportunity to check that lessons learned from historical near misses and instances have been incorporated and staff members are taking the necessary measures.
We have been undertaking complex and difficult construction projects within live establishments for many years, and one of the key issues always faced is to ensure that we collectively manage disruption, interfaces and communicate our intentions to our clients and stakeholders clearly and consistently at all times.
As a business, we have gained three extremely important ISO standards: ISO EN 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001. Our quality assurance and production processes are independently audited and verified every year.
Our quality management systems have been accredited by UKAS, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to customer service and quality assurance. We continually strive to deliver the highest standards of service to suit the changing needs of our clients.
